Jacob Tomlinson married Emily Wolf in Madison County, Pleasant Township. They married November 15, 1877. Jacob was the father of Mollie Cahill Tomlinson, but never married her mother, Laura Sarah Cahill. Jacob died on July 27, 1916 of Brights disease. Jacob was 64 years old, and is buried at Pleasant Cemetery, Madison County, Ohio.
